Architectural Drafter (Jacksonville)

We are currently seeking an Architectural Drafter in our Jacksonville office with 5+ years of professional experience in the production of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Previous experience with Senior Living, Hospitality, or Healthcare is a plus.

 

DUTIES

We are seeking a design oriented, core team member who has the technical ability to work effectively to carry out the design intent of senior staff.

  • Prepare architectural construction documents using AutoCAD/Revit

  • Support the design efforts of project architects

  • Assist in obtaining approvals through various governmental agencies

  • Work collaboratively and constructively with all team members

  • Ability to work well under pressure, complete deadlines, switch priorities as needed, and have an eye for details

 

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Qualified individuals will have five years minimum experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. You should be organized and have good written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree

Interior Designer (Jacksonville, FL)

ACI is looking for a dynamic and qualified Interior Designer to join our Jacksonville team. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working in Healthcare and related facilities and is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, so the ability to handle pressure, stay organized, and multi-task is important. Candidates should also have a strong sense of self-accountability, high attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develops plans and interior architecture in the direction communicated by the Project Design Manager and Design Coordinator.

  • Makes all finish and furnishings selections that align with project design parameters.

  • Ensures furniture plans meet project and senior ergonomic requirements.

  • Develops finish material palettes and presentation materials.

  • Effectively and accurately documents drawings and answers detailed design related questions.

  • Attends project furnishings installations for final accessorizing and punch list.
     

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
 

  • Advanced computer skills to include AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

  • The ability to analyze and recognize importance of Life Safety and Code issues is crucial.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to follow a task to completion.

  • Ability to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude with a resourceful approach.

 

Experience / Education
 

  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a Design Team member in an Interior Design/Architectural firm is preferred.

  • Experience in Senior Living, Hospitality, or Healthcare is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture is desired but not required.

  • This position requires regional travel

  • This position requires a current and valid driver's license.

Architectural Drafter (Largo)

We are currently accepting applications for an Architectural Drafter to work in our Home Office in Largo, FL. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment and is proficient in AutoCad and Revit. This candidate will collaborate with architectural team and will provide top notch production and documentation for projects from schematic design through construction documents, including coordination of architectural details.

3D Renderer/Visualization Artist (Largo)

POSITION SUMMARY

You will translate what a designer is trying to communicate to the client through 3D or 2D illustrations. Illustrations can range from conceptual art to photo-realistic quality and a key driver to telling a story.

 

You will be working closely with the design teams, the ideal candidate will interpret architectural designs as specified within project sketches, architectural drawings or models; realizing those design as compelling photo-realistic images. This position is integral to the design team and closely work alongside the designers, architects and subconsultants to provide design iterations, presentation material, and concept images for ACI projects.

 

In this position the 3D Renderer/ Visualization Artist will analyze and understand the style of each project to ensure the rendering sets are accurate reflections of the design intent while remaining consistent to the firm’s visual brand standards

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create a variety of high-quality exterior and interior architectural 3D models & renderings.

  • Rapidly construct accurate high quality, realistic 3D renderings.

  • Work independently and with project teams in creating representations of design sketches or developed projects.

 

REALIZE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS

  • Bring architectural concepts to life by creating exceptional photorealistic renderings through the use of architectural and photography software programs.

  • Create 3D massing models from architectural plans in 3D Max. Applying textures to the models and providing appropriate lighting techniques.

  • Create 2D renderings from 3D models and enhancing images using Photoshop, Sketchup or other appropriate photo/rendering software.

  • Work with design teams to provide design iterations, pitch material and concept images for senior living and healthcare architectural projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

 

TECHNOLOGY

  • In-depth understanding of color, composition and lighting for photorealistic imagery.

  • 3+ years of architectural design or studio background and extensive experience with graphics, 3D Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, or similar

  • 3+ years of experience with 3D Architectural visualization, rendering and digital model-making

  • Experience with Lumion, After Effects, UnReal, Unity, Revit & other 3D platforms a plus

 

CULTURE & WORK ETHIC

  • Adhere to the Directors and Project Managers’ scheduling and project requirements.

  • Must have exceptional quality standards and have demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. (Some regional travel is required).

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, able to excel under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.

  • Organization of files / folder structure / Layers in Photoshop & 3D software.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience translating architect's sketches and CAD/Revit documents into realized 3D models and images.

  • Trained in diverse platforms to work on a variety of project types.

  • Able to research solutions to either artistic, or technical, issues when they arise.

  • A good understanding of Light and Color. Along with composition, and basic art principles

  • Knowledge of Relevant Building Codes and Accessibility Requirements.

  • Strong communication skills, time management, and self-driven work ethic.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design or Animations
